The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

As Dicor Products continues to grow in the RV industry, Matt Grierson takes the reigns of the OEM sales department. A 35-year veteran of the industry, Grierson has held many positions throughout his career that has given him a unique view of the RV market. Grierson came to Dicor as an account manager in 2013.
“Matt will be responsible for maintaining and growing OEM business,” Anthony Wollschlager, president of Dicor Corporation says. “He will be tasked with increasing sales through a variety of account functions as well as applying his extensive product knowledge.”
Grierson was previously general manager of Foremost Transport, an RV transportation company based in Goshen, Indiana. Prior to that, he was compliance manager with its parent company, Quality Drive Away.
As the national sales manager, Grierson will be leading the sales efforts for Dicor Products and Seal Design and is enthusiastic about his new position.
“I am excited to lead an energized sales team and to continue our rapid growth in the industry,” Grierson says. “At Dicor, we have a great team and outstanding products with new innovations coming all of the time.”
“Matt has done an excellent job as an account manager for Dicor over the past five years, contributing to our sales growth in the market," Wollschlager says. "There’s no doubt his experience is a perfect match for this position.”
Grierson held various management positions with Coachmen RV from 1983-2009 including assistant VP of distribution and regional sales manager.
