RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

CalRVDA Sets Conference for February

154411681914272.pngThe California RV Dealers Association (CalRVDA) has scheduled its 2019 Conference for Feb. 20-21 at the Omni San Diego Hotel.

The conference agenda has not been finalized but several supporting events have been confirmed. There will be a special sponsors’ reception Tuesday evening, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. A golf tournament will be held at Torrey Pines on Wednesday morning with a dinner and silent auction to follow that evening. The conference meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21 and will conclude with a dealers-only session.

Room reservations at the Omni Hotel must be made by 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21 to guarantee the convention room rate. Attendees can make room reservations here.
