RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

REV Group Sells Texas Service Center

155534431499617.pngREV Recreation Group recently sold a service center in Alvarado, Texas, to National Retail Properties, LP of Lincolnshire, Ill.

The sale included 12 acres of land, all asphalt and concrete, with fencing and security lights.

Dan Spika, executive vice president and principal of the Industrial Division for Henry S. Miller Brokerage in Dallas, represented REV Recreation Group of Milwaukee in the sale. Mark Wussow of Commercial Real Estate Services, LLC represented the buyer.

The 58,736-square-foot service center features:

• Open bays that are 120 or 60 feet long
• Bays with roll-up doors that are 14 feet wide and 16 feet high
• Ceiling height of 20 feet at the eaves and 29 feet in the center
• Two paint booths
• A prep area
• Wash bay
• Floor drains, evenly distributed power and ventilation throughout.

There is also approximately 10,156 square feet of office space. The property was constructed in 2008 and expanded in 2017.
